Does the SYB Phone Pouch block my signal?
No. Only one side of the pouch is shielded — the side that faces your body. The outward-facing side is normal fabric, so your phone stays connected to the network as usual. That one-sided design is the whole point: shielding between the phone and you, open air for the signal.
Does it drain my battery faster?
No. Because the outward side is unshielded, your phone doesn't have to work harder to hold a connection, so battery life is unaffected.
Will it fit my phone?
The XL size fits virtually all modern phones in a slim case. If you use a thick rugged case (Otterbox-style), choose the XXL. Check the size chart on the product page against your phone's dimensions if you're unsure.
How much radiation does it actually block?
The shielding fabric is laboratory tested against frequencies up to 20 GHz (which covers the bands used by 5G) and deflects up to 99.9% of wireless radiation hitting the shielded side. Can I use it while the phone is charging or on a call?
Yes. The pouch doesn't interfere with normal phone use — calls, notifications, and Bluetooth all work while the phone is in the pouch. For long calls, speakerphone or wired headphones add extra distance.
